Simultaneous and quantitative measurements of both in-plane magnetization components in Magneto-Optic Kerr magnetometry

In this seminar I will talk about a method to acquires, simultaneously and quantitatively, two of the three components of the magnetization vector in  Magneto-Optic Kerr measurements (also called vectorial MOKE), in order to magnetically characterises a thin film.

I will briefly introduce you  to some aspects of Magneto-Optics and to the method that was implemented in our lab. The presented procedure could be convenient in some particular experimental MOKE setups.
